Meditació seems to owe its title to the contemplative atmosphere that the composer gives this score, written for strings. Its poetic mood is built up by music written legato, manifested by means of the distinct articulations. Written in E minor, the alterations, rather than having any modulating intentions, are treated as an element for enriching the instrumental colour.
