Amor y Renacimiento are two solo piano pieces taken from Castor and Pollux ballet, written for piano and percussion. The first of them (dedicated to add Sukarlan) is entitled Castor and Phoebe, and is musically one of the love scenes of the ballet. The second, Renaissance of Castor (dedicated to Jacobo Durán Loriga) represents the rebirth of Castor after the intercession of his brother Pollux before Zeus.
