Quasimodo was premiered at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in 1875 under the direction of the composer. The work won a good acceptance from the public but probably not at all by the press.
There were published four pieces of Quasimodo but it wasn’t played for lot of years.
It was not until a few years ago that Quasimodo was recovered by the Orquestra de Cadaqués.
