Agustín Fernández began his musical approach as a singer and "charango" performer of folkloric music. He studied in Bolivia, Japan now live in England where he works as a composer and as a lecturer at Newcastle University. He has received influences of the Russian Symphonists and the chamber music of Brahms and Beethoven. His great catalogue includes scenic, chamber, choral, vocal, and orchestral-choral music. Also he improved in electro-acoustic works. Any of his compositions were broadcasted and are available on CD.
