1835. From Paris, and more than forty years later, Ferran Sor recalls his stay at the Escolania de Montserrat. Despite the distance in time, the narration produces an impression of immediacy and great vivacity, largely obtained by the precision in the details and by the anecdote. Apart from the interest they may have in knowing aspects of the general functioning of the Escolania at the end of the eighteenth century, these mémoires also reveal some character traits of the author.
