The Catalan orchestra OBC, having featured his Overture from the ballet Cendrillon in their previous season, once again include such a piece by the Barcelona composer Ferran Sor on their programme. La Elvira Portuguesa is a tragedy from 1804 written by Zavala y Zamora of which only Sor's score has been conserved. The concert dates are 24, 25, 26 and 28 March at the Auditori de Barcelona. The score has been revised by the musicologist Josep Dolcet. Other scores by Sor in the Tritó catalogue are his Symphonies no. 1, 2 and 3.
