The international conducting competition organised by the Cadaqués Orchestra every two years has played a decisive role in the careers of many of the great orchestral conductors who today lead major orchestras around the world. Gianandrea Noseda is a case in point. Noseda was the winner in 1994 and in 1998 became principal conductor of the Cadaqués Orchestra. Since then his career has continued to progress. This album is a recording of the concerts given by the orchestra at the Auditorio in Zaragoza between January 1999 and March 2000.
