La música al teatre de Palma (1800-1817)

The effect of enlightened reform is a study of musical activity developed in the House of Comedies in Palma de Mallorca over the first two decades of the XIXth century.

The author examines the organization and administration theatrical, Spanish comic companies, audiences attending the performances and the musical repertoire that was performed by comic companies.

As a complement to the studio is attached a CD containing all the documentation used for the study and their names nad places indexes.

The book is of interest to researchers and specialists and the general public who wants to know the little-known aspects of history and music of the city of Palma.
