This CD belongs to the Colección Juventudes Musicales to promote young interpreters and contains three significant works of the violin repertoire although each of them is of different periods and nationalities.

The Sis sonets per a violí i piano must be placed into Toldrà chamber music, most of it songs. Additionally these six sonets directly refer to poems.

Next comes Messiaen´s piece, Theme et variations, an example of one of the most original composers on the cutting edge of the European 20th century.

Ending the CD comes Sonata in A, is a masterpiece in violin repertoire whose composer, Cesar Frank is the main figure of the musical Romanticism of not Germanic Europe.
