This is the story of a toy box where, a long time ago, a dancing doll and a wooden soldier lived in a huddle. At night, after the children fell asleep, the box would open and ... ôSo begins this work that Debussy wrote for his daughter Chou-Chou and all the children in the world in mind. This recording presents Meirion Bowen’s arrangement for narrator and chamber ensemble of the original piano score. It is narrated in Catalan by the soprano Mireia Casas. The text of the story is included in the CD booklet.
