Moisès Bertran
Holds the degrees of Professor Superior de Piano, Professor Superior de Solfeig i Teoria de la Música and Professor de Composició from the Barcelona Liceo Conservatory. He has taught piano, theory, harmony and composition for several years in Spain as well as in the USA.

Also earned the degrees of "Master in Music" and "Doctor in Musical Arts" from The Hartt School (University of Hartford, USA).
He has been awarded several prizes in Spain as well as in the United States including: 2nd Prize at the "XVII National Association of Composers, USA" - Young Composers Competition (Los Ángeles, California, USA), 1995; 2nd Prize at the International Composition Contest "Francesc Civil/ Ciutat de Girona" (Girona, Catalunya, Spain), 1996; "Norman J. Bayles memorial Award for Composition" (The Hartt School, West Hartford, Connecticut, USA), 1993; IX Premio Constitución (Junta de Extremadura, Spain), 1991.

His pieces have been played quite often in public concerts. Among them: Catalanesca (symphonic orchestra), Somnis (chamber orchestra), String Quartet Hartford, Trio per a Piano i Fustes (oboe, bassoon and piano), Tres Cançons Canadenques (soprano and string orchestra), Tres Poemes de Suite Parlavà (soprano and piano), Tema amb variacions 2 (violin and piano), Petita Suite (piano)…
